RiskDesk — How to install your EX5 on MetaTrader 5
====================================================

You received a RiskDesk .ex5 file by email.

Two ways to copy the file into MT5:
  A) Optional installer (copies the EX5 only)
  B) Manual copy

The installer does NOT add the license URL. MetaTrader encrypts that list.
For beta / monthly / yearly / lifetime you must paste the URL yourself (step 5).
Free demo EX5: skip step 5.

A) Optional fast installer
--------------------------
1) Download: https://riskdesk.dev/downloads/Install-RiskDesk-2.zip
2) Unzip into the SAME folder as your RiskDesk_….ex5
3) Double-click Install-RiskDesk.cmd
4) Confirm the EX5 path, pick your MT5 data folder
(File → Open Data Folder in MetaTrader 5 — not Program Files),
   click Install.
5) Then do step 5 below in MT5 (paste the URL). The installer cannot do that.
6) Navigator → Experts → Refresh (or restart MT5),
drag RiskDesk onto a chart, enable Algo Trading.

B) Manual install
-----------------

1) Download the EX5
-------------------
- Open the email from RiskDesk (support@riskdesk.dev).
- Save the .ex5 attachment to your Desktop or Downloads folder.
- Also keep the README and payment receipt for your records.

2) Open your MT5 data folder
----------------------------
In MetaTrader 5:
  File → Open Data Folder

Windows Explorer opens your terminal data folder.

3) Copy the EX5 into Experts
----------------------------
Inside the data folder go to:

  MQL5 → Experts

(Optional subfolder: MQL5 → Experts → Advisors — either location works.)

Paste (Copy) your RiskDesk_….ex5 file into that folder.

4) Refresh Navigator
--------------------
Back in MetaTrader 5:
- Open the Navigator panel (Ctrl+N if hidden).
- Right-click Experts (or Advisors) → Refresh.
- You should see your RiskDesk file listed.

5) YOU must add the WebRequest URL (beta, monthly, yearly, lifetime)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The installer cannot insert this. Do it yourself, once, in MT5:

Tools → Options → Expert Advisors:
- Tick: Allow WebRequest for listed URL
- Click the green +
- Paste exactly: https://api.riskdesk.dev
- OK

If you skip this, live / beta / paid will not trade.
Free demo builds do NOT need this step.

The first-run license check is local (account lock). WebRequest is the weekly
online check after that. If the panel says "integrity check failed", replace
the EX5 with the latest email attachment (delete copies named " (1)").

If the license server is temporarily down AFTER a successful check, the EA
keeps working until local expiry. A refunded license is stopped on the next
successful check.

License accounts:
- Free demo EX5: any MT5 demo account only. No WebRequest.
- Live beta: one licensed live account AND any demo. WebRequest required.
- Monthly / yearly / lifetime (V4.07.36): up to 10 live accounts on one EX5.
Purchase login is seat 1. Extra live logins: check purchase email for a
6-digit code, set EA input InpLicenseClaimCode, reattach. Seats are permanent.
  Any demo included. WebRequest required.

6) Attach RiskDesk to a chart
-----------------------------
Option A — drag and drop:
Drag RiskDesk from Navigator onto any chart.

Option B — right-click:
Right-click the RiskDesk name in Navigator
  → Attach to Chart
(or Attach to a chart you already have open)

When the inputs window appears, click OK (defaults are fine).

7) Enable Algo Trading
----------------------
At the top of MetaTrader 5, turn ON:

  Algo Trading (AutoTrading)

It must be green / enabled or orders will not send.

8) Confirm it is running
------------------------
- RiskDesk panel should appear on the chart.
- In the Experts tab (Toolbox), you should see RiskDesk messages — not a license block.
- Live / beta / paid: licensed live account, or any demo account.
- Free demo license: any demo account is fine.

Demo licenses
-------------
Demo builds work on DEMO MT5 accounts only (not live).
They are not locked to one account number.
They expire on the date shown in your email / receipt.
